Meet DJ Nevin
Trikone's Resident DJ
DJ Nevin discovered Trikone Chicago in 2015, immediately after he spent a month traveling through India. He started attending Trikone potlucks and realized it was the first community he felt at home with in Chicago. When he was asked to DJ for Trikone's Jai Ho Bollywood dance parties, it was a dream come true. To Nevin who’s been so inspired by desi music and culture, it’s an incredible honor to spin Bollywood & Bhangra music for Chicago’s South Asian queer community. When asked what he loves about Trikone, Nevin says, “Trikone has been one of the greatest gifts of my life. They welcomed me with open arms, and have taught me invaluable lessons about community, respect, openness & kindness. Some of my best friends and greatest life experiences are all thanks to Trikone. It’s made me a better person, and has evolved the way I DJ and write music. I am very grateful to be a part of this beautiful organization."
Meet RIYA RIYA
Trikone’s Resident DJ
RIYA RIYA is a musician and DJ who has been immersed in music since childhood. A pianist, jazz trumpet player, drummer, and flutist, she began experimenting with electronic music 7 years ago. Currently, she DJs Chicago’s Jai Ho Bollywood dance parties along with DJ Nevin and loves blending her south asian influences with modern pop, house, and EDM.

New to the scene but a veteran in the game, Ariana is a fashion model, entrepreneur, and our city’s fastest-growing DJ / Producer. With her unique style and innovative approach to mixing, Ariana has quickly become one of the most sought-after DJs in our city. Her ability to read a crowd and keep the energy high has earned her a legion of devoted fans and cemented her status as a true legend of the DJ scene. But it's not just her talent behind the decks that set Ariana apart. She’s a true visionary, constantly pushing the boundaries of what's possible in music and inspiring countless other DJs to follow in her footsteps. She currently spins at a handful of Chicago’s hottest venues and her vision to unify our diverse world through her music easily shows when you hear her live. She’s an open-format DJ that infuses all genres of music in her sets, from hip-hop, and reggaeton to house and trap. Combined with seamless transitions and scratches, Ariana is both candy for your ears and eyes all at once and the energy she brings to the crowd is truly out of this world. Today, Ariana continues to innovate and inspire, always striving to push the limits of what can be accomplished with a set of turntables and a deep love for music. Her influence on the DJ scene is undeniable, and her legacy as a true legend of the craft will endure for generations to come.
