Invisible to Invincible (I2I): Asian Pacific Islander Pride of Chicago is a community-based organization that celebrates and affirms Asian/Pacific Islanders who identify as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Questioning or Queer in the Chicago area.


Chicago Dyke March Collective is a grassroots mobilization and celebration of dyke, queer, bisexual, and transgender resilience. It is an anti-racist, anti-violent, volunteer-led, grassroots effort with a goal to bridge together communities across race, ethnicity, socio-economic status, age, size, gender identity, gender expression, sexuality, culture, immigrant status, spirituality, and ability. We challenge fatphobia and are body positive.

Apna Ghar provides holistic services to women and children across immigrant communities in the Chicago area to end the cycle of domestic violence. Apna Ghar empowers women to be self-sufficient by a full spectrum of services from education to emergency and transitional housing to counseling and legal services.

Planned Parenthood of Illinois is the leader in providing and promoting compassionate, comprehensive reproductive health care, education, and rights. Each health center provides preventative services that help people stay healthy including: lifesaving cancer screenings, breast health care, well-woman exams, contraceptive services, sexually transmitted infection prevention and treatment, as well as hormone therapy for transgender people. Services include: STI testing, birth control, transgender hormonal therapy, clinical psychosocial services, etc.

 


Open Door will strive to become the premier provider of sexual health and wellness by: Establishing centers in Aurora and Elgin, Illinois that address both primary care as well as specialized services to eliminate disparities whose patients include people living with HIV/AIDS, people concerned about sexually-transmitted infections, people who identify as gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender; Increase the understanding of how behavior and other actions affect health; Decrease the stigma for those seeing support and treatment". Services include: STI testing, transgender hormonal therapy, HIV/AIDS comprehensive treatment, clinical psychosocial services, etc.


Chicago Women’s Health Center facilitates the empowerment of women and trans* people by providing access to health care and health education in a respectful environment where people pay what they can afford. 


We are committed to providing an affirming therapeutic environment for the LGBTQI (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer/Questioning, and Intersex) population and beyond that supports the development of a strong professional relationship between clients and their therapists. The safety and strength clients draw from that solid therapeutic relationship allows them to feel more freedom to examine, embrace, and express who they really are.
